Chrissy Teigen will no longer be part of marketing her and Kris Jenner's cleaning products line, Safely. The Sun reports that Teigen has not been fully dropped from the brand, but she will no longer be the face of the brand in advertisements with Kris Jenner.
"They know they can’t show Chrissy anymore but her with her kids was originally the whole appeal of the brand [,] it’s tricky since she was part of creating the company, she's not just a spokesperson" -Source via The Sun
While Teigen is the one who will not be apart of future marketing campaigns, Jenner has reportedly been stressing out as " she’s a numbers girl first and their sales tanked after all of Chrissy’s tweets came out", the insider from The Sun also mentioned.
Chrissy Teigen co-founded their cleaning products line Safely together, announcing the brand in March 2021.
Teigen raised controversy after tweets and direct messages were revealed from 2011 of her saying very harsh things to model Courtney Stodden. At the time, Stodden was a teenager. TMZ shared screenshots of tweets by Teigen written towards Stodden.
Teigen has since apologized for her actions with Stodden accepting the apology. While Stodden has accepted the apology, fans of Chrissy Teigen have not been as forgiving. Teigen has lost several partnerships with brands because of this scandal. Target (stated the drop was for other reasons) and other retailers no longer sell her cookware line and Variety reports that she has quit her upcoming voice-over role in the Netflix series Never Have I Ever. Teigen has not been seen on any social media since the controversy surrounding her started in the beginning of May 2021.
